About Us
The Georgia Alliance of Preservation Commissions - GAPC - is a non-profit organization which aims to support Georgia's HPCs and staff by promoting inter-commission communication, supporting local preservation education and programming, and serving as a public information resource for and about matters affecting historic districts and the work of preservation commissions.
Board Members
GAPC is managed by a sixteen-member board comprised of HPC members and staff, regional commission members, and other preservation professionals from across the state. In concert with ex-officio members from Georgia's Historic Preservation Division, the board includes four at-large members and twelve members who represent the people and interests of the twelve regions of Georgia.
